Binary Moon Competition
Binary Moon is a blog about games, movies, web design and books. Basically fun stuff we like to read about. He is are having a new competition to help promote the blog and an upcoming redesign of the site.
What is the prize? A lot of links and advertising. Top winner gets a full review ($200 for ReviewMe) and top 3 get direct homepage links. This wouldn't be worth much on a PR 0 blog, but the Binary Moon blog has a PR of 7. Not sure how many subscribers however.
So what do you need to do? Link to one of the pages on his site, and do a quick review (100-200 words). Then comment on it so he knows you did so. The contest ends August 15th.
One entry I enjoyed was a review of how the Wii isn't giving children false hope. Kelly MCBride (a sports reporter) has apparently suggested that the Wii is making children think they can actually play tennis and other real sports games. And as such is bad for kids. Imagine that, a game system that gets kids to be active, interact and learn a bit is a bad thing. What a ridiculous notion. Pretty funny read.
